2024 Dick Parker Summer Cup

CONDITIONS OF PLAY
1. Nominations (with $5 entry fee) close with the club professional on Saturday 26th October 2024.
2. Open to Male Members with Saturday playing rights.
3. An 18-hole Stableford qualifying round played on Saturday 26th October 2024. The players with the 4 best Stableford scores play match play rounds with 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 on Sunday 10th November with the final on Sunday 17th November.
4. Handicap limits:
a. Match Play – Player on lower handicap concedes the difference of his Daily Handicap to the other. Strokes to be taken as per MATCH INDEX but in any event, limited to one stroke per hole in the Match Play. (A player will still receive strokes on the 19th and subsequent holes).
b. Players must use their current Daily Handicap of the day for all rounds.
c. In the event of ties in Match Play, result to be decided by “sudden death” play off until a result is obtained.

7. Ride on golf carts: The use of a ride on golf cart by a competitor and/or caddy is prohibited unless the member has been granted approval to use for medical reasons. Penalty – Match Play – Loss of hole at which any breach occurred – maximum 2 holes – Stroke Play – disqualification.
8. The Match Committee shall have sole management and control of the competition with full power, at any time, to alter or vary any of the conditions.
9. Competitions must report to the starter 10 minutes before their tee time and start at the appointed time. Rule 6.3 will apply. Disqualification may be imposed on any player not on the tee five minutes before the scheduled time.
10. If the forecast temperature for the day of an event as advised by the Bureau of Meteorology at 9.00am on the day of the event or activity is 40 degrees or higher, the event at the discretion of the Match Committee maybe either abandoned or rescheduled.
11. ALCOHOL: The consumption of alcohol by a player or caddy during match play rounds of Honour Board events is strictly prohibited. Penalty: Disciplinary action as determined by the Match Committee.
